Okay here's a few I encountered while working an information desk one day....
Where is the third floor? I pointed up.
Which is the best way to get to the third floor, escalator or elevator? I told them it was kind of like boxers or briefs, pepsi or coke,,kind of a personal decision ya know??
"Where do I find this room?" as they practically tripped over the sign pointing to their destination.
Standing by the elevator and asking me where the elevator is-(no wonder drivers say they didn't see the motorcycle). For fun I said they would need the correct change for the elevator...next question,,,where do I get change??
My mother, queen of the absent minded, rode with me to the bank to cash her pay check. The teller handed the check back to her and said "Maam, this is your pay stub, not the check". Wedrive home to find she had thrown the check in the trash and signed the stub. We returned to the bank later that day. My mother explained the coffee stains on the check and said to the teller, "I bet you Guy's have seen it all, Huh?". To which the teller said, That's OK Maam, I heard their was a lady in here earlier trying to cash her pay stub!!"
Thats funny because the same thing happened to me when my modem crapped out on me, I called AT&T to order a new one and after being on hold for a little over a hour I lit into the gal that finally answer. Told her its BS that I have to wait over a hour to get hold of a preson and she said she was sorry and its easier and faster I would just email them.. Jeesh
