I have a rider backrest coming for my stock seat....I'll likely use that a lot.

Did you order the adjustable backrest? Installed mine last week, makes a hell of a difference. THe release lever is just under your left leg, makes forward and rear adjustment very easy while riding. Good for changing riding position while on the go.

Yep...they said it's shipped so it should be in soon. It's all about my back....heck that was the whole reason for buying the new bike.[8D]

I have some instructions for setting up my tour pak in a solo position and am setting my tour pak up as detachable so Ican remove the tour pak for shorter rides (once in a while)...I really like the look with it off.My only concern with the Le Pera is they do not offer a backrest...with the tour pack forward that won't be a problem but solo I'm not sure.

Hubby has a Mustang and has both good an bad things to say about it. I know people that love thier Corbins and people that curse them. No harm in trying it. I'm sure they will take very good care of my bike...they have been doing this for years.

I have a buddy that went on a 700 mile weekend trip with us. He rode an 06 Sporty with a Lapera Bare bones seat & said it didn't bother him at all. My azz hurt from just knowing he was sittin on that seat for 700 miles. My ol azz couldn't have taken it. I like my mustang seat.

Your HD backrest will also work with the Mustang seat. Not Corbin or La Pera. Something to consider.

He thinks it is too hard and often complains about his but hurting way before me.

I'm still figuring a free seat is always worth a try. Like I said I can always use it for showing if nothing else.
