I really hate the wind buffeting from my HD detachable windshield on my Low Rider. At highway speeds it is very annoying. I have been researching other windshield options and the Rifle Solo Shield looks interesting. It mounts on the handlebars and has a 4" vertical height adjustment AND variable angle adjustment. Does anyone have any experience with this product? Would you recommend it? Thanks
I have one on my Dyna Superglide. It looks a little funny because I have dual gauges (speedo and tach) mounted on top of the handlebar so the windshield sticks out more than usual and I have it cocked toward the back as far as it will go. But it is the best windshield I have had thus far. The top stream is pretty smooth with a little buffeting coming from the sides and up from the tank.
If you do not have the gauges mounted like I do, you will be able to get the windshield mounted closer than I have and the air stream should be even more smoother.
