I'm writing a card, credit card size, to keep with my driving licence and bike papers in my jacket, with the following information:
- Information on allergies
- Blood group (far less useful than you'd think, as they will use 0 neg in case of doubt and then test it anyway, but for what space it takes, I'll put it.)
- Homeaddress
- Wife phone
- Parents phone
- brother phone
- choice as organ donor
- appinted person to make decisions in case I'm not capable of it. Must be a legal paper in some countries.
newer cell phones have that in them If you look in contacts it is the first item. The cell phone I have you can program up to three different contacts. Also once the contacts are under ICE their name appears as RED in the list also
ICE is not a good idea, most people know nothing about, met a B.A.C.A. member named Ice, and heard of a drug called ice, I even put ice in my tea, the best method is to list your emergency contacts as ; Mom or Dad, Or Wife. Even Son or Daughter, most people when dealing with accidents would look for names like that instead of ICE, hell ice could stand for I cant eat, or International cotton educator, or it might be the local Ice distributer for all the kegs you need iced down. It is a good idea just not for cell phones. Check this out on snopes.com
