I bought a pair of Diamond Gusset Defender jeans, kevlar knees and seat. Pricey but comfortable. Have velcro adjustable tabs at the ankles to keep tight to your boots. http://www.gussetclothing.com/mendiamgusje.html

I sprung for a pair of the Icon Ventilated jeans. They are too short, the knee pads ride on my thighs. (my Normal inseam,32, Riding inseam 34). The Icon waist was a bit small for it's listed size. Still have them. Swallowed the $80.00 bucks and was not going to through another 20% restocking charge after it. I don't shop onlineat V Twin in NYC anymore.

Also check out the HD Kevlar jeans. I found a place in Iowa(was there on business) that was selling them for 50% off. I picked up two pairs. Nice jeans.
