First off, I think i do qualify as "the man" since I am an LEO. I have the same problem, odd thing is that I havn'tbeen stopped on my scoot, just lots of times in the car/truck. I'm not sure what it is, but I know that I call myself a chronic speeder. I think it is terminal, no cure that I know of.
Ya, I'm a law abiding citizen, but sometimes I find my speed (truck or bike) to be ..., uh a tiny bit over the stated speed limit. I, of course back off immediately to the stated speed limit.

The question is do you give speeding tickets then. If so thats just wrong!! Wrong I tell you!!!!! J/K I have a fewLEO Freinds. very coOl people unless you are a A$$hole when stopped. Been pulled over by one of them for speedinggood thing I knew him.
There's something about a motorcycle that makes me go crazy. I'll drive my cars and truck at 5 under the limit. Went to Vette Fest in Effingham this year. Hundreds of vettes past me by. But put me on one off my bikes and before the ride is over, I have made it do launches and high speed runs. I'm an old man and retired police chief. I should know better!
I am a calm, sedate and law abiding Harley rider. I have nothing to prove. <looking over my shoulder>
Seriously, I can go fast, but too many places I ride pose potential hazards like - ohh, deer, fallen rocks, downed trees - and large diesel powered trucks.
Stay away from Virginia! Got that problem, you bet I do.There just ain't no better feeling on God's green earth, than grabbing a handfull of the loud pedal.I do it everytime I go out for a ride.
