First and last time I walk into that particular dealer. He followed the no more 08 touring statement up with another beauty.... We only have 3 or 4 more touring bikes out back soI wouldn't wait to long to make a decision if I were youthey will move quick at these prices. I just laughed and started to walk towards the door. I hear his voice again with something stupid so I had to stop. I turned around and walked back to him and told him First I have an 07 FXDC so I really don't need a bike, Second your price on the two bikes that perked my interest are $2500 over MSRP and finally the dealer 20 miles South of here will let them go at MSRP with no hassles. His response well you better hurry and get one there because there not making anymore 08 touring bikes. He did give me my daily dose of humor.
I heard HD is selling outin 2008. They are affraidthat the new Indiansare gonna take the bike market by storm and want to punch before HD goes bankrupt. Also there will be no baggers, softails, dynas or sporties till the year 2025. HD want's to drive demand back up. The only HD available will be a trike version of the v-Rod and it will have an optional convertible top. COULD JUST BE ROOMER THOUGH!!! GOD BLESS IT, I thought we had a couple more months before this crap started!!!
