Has anyone tried the driving light conversion kit which allows you to run thedriving lights with the high beam? It replaces the regulartwopositionswitch with a three position switch which allows you to choose the way the driving lights function.

My auxilliary lighs go off when I turn my high beam on, so I ride with my low beams on. I think I am more visible with the low beam and auxilliary light on at the same time.

There is a way to re wire your lights, so your two position switch is either on or off..makes no difference if you have hi or low beam on...you can turn on the driving lights if you want to

Here's a site that shows how to rewire the passing lamps to either on or off.

High beams blind!
Even in full daylight, as they are straight level with most cars rear views (but for SUVs, perhaps)
They may do a lot to make you LESS safe: do you REALLY want to take over a half-blind driver fumbling with his rear veiws to get yoyr high beam off his eyes?
I surely don't.
Low beam and auxiliary lights do a much greater job of making you more visible.
"Visibility" in not just "know that somebody is out there" but WHERE he actually is and possibly your relative speed.
Aux light do just that.

I Ride with Low beam on, if getting close to an intersection or think someone might be thinking of pulling out from a side road,on flip my high beam on to get their attention this seems to work well for me anyway...
