Cut three peices of 3/4" plywood one under each tire one under jiffy stand. What I had to do on the Sears red lift. This is on a Deluxe.

This one measures5" with itfully down, no spacers or anything.

Sounds like the 2x4 ramp is my only option.I was just under the assumption that this particular jackwould fit without any help. Nobig deal really.

Overallit appears to be a good, sturdy jack. The only concern I have is the attachment point for the jack ram,it's pretty flimsy looking.I mightend up replacing that myself and make itstronger.

Thanks for the help

Did you remove the 'adapters'? On my yellow jack, there 'lifts' on it........you remove
the lifts/adapters and that allows you to put the jack under lower bikes.
Check and see if yours have them.

chuck
He doesn't have the Sears yellow jack which has those adapters.

Umm 5.12" is taller than 5.1" of clearance, that's cutting it close don't you think.

Sounds like you should of went for the pitbull jack,it needs no adapters, ramps or peices of plywood. You just slide under your bike and lift her up safely and scurely.Ifsomeone wanted to buy a boat anchor , i would imagine they would call a company with the name of HARBOR FREIGHT.It just sounds like they would make a good boat anchor.

I have the same Harbor Freight jack. It just barely slides under my '04 1200C and is kind of wobbly when it gets off the ground. When I use it, i just barley get the wheels off the ground and keep the front tire in a Condor/PitStop.

The guy obvioulsy bought the Harbor Freight jack because it was cheap...just like the 2 that I have. Roll yourfront or rear tireonto a short piece of 2X6. it will give you the height you need to clear the jack under your bike. It is a little inconvience but saves a bunch of bucks!

Good Luck!
