Thanks again, everyone for the continued prayers and well wishes. Betty is doing even better today as they get ready to move her to a regular room. She's eating real food and is even more lucid today than yesterday as the pain meds and sedatives are leaving her system.
She's pretty sore, but she's tough and is not requiring much medication to take the edge off.
I am doing better as well. I think I slept for the first time last night. I woke up in the same position I laid down in. LOL....
Again, thank you to everyone for the thoughts, well-wishes and especially the prayers. She's got a ways to go yet, but she's getting there fast thanks to God and people that believe in the power of prayer. You guys truly ROCK!

I can barely imagine how I'd feel if such a thing had happened to my wife.
I just know how worried I was a day I knew she was coming back home in very bad weather by car, still with summer tires on, and couldn't rise her by phone or mobile, and she was already half an hour after her usual arrival time. And that was bad enough.
So, I'm not a believer, but if there are some powers that be willing to listen to me for the sake of somebody else, and not my personal interest, here are my prayer for her, and you as well, to get better as quick as possible. Hope you'll be out and riding to exorcise the ugly ghost of this bad experience as soon as possible!
