YOU GOT IT! My wife rides too, and I usually take the rear to keep an eye on things. I've only had one "heart in my throat" moment, but it's caused me to often think how I'd react if something did happen. Not so much in the immediacy, but after, as you are experiencing. Please keep us posted on your lady's progress. I'll be hoping for the best for both of you.
Edit - My wife says she will add her prayers too.

prayers and speedy recovery. must have been hell watching and not being able to do anything. one reason i don't encourage my wife to start riding.

Sorry to hear it... my wife has just started to ride, and this very thing keeps me up at night... I don't know how I would handle something like this happening to her... she is my life... as I am sure yours is to you.... Prayers sent for a speedy recovery...
