Hey everybody, thanks for the overwhelming response and well wishes.
I truly do have a permanent smile on my face.
For those who asked, I live in Suffolk County (Long Island, NY)
And Ive been riding since my teens, mostly dirt.
And as far as the color goes, I have a funny story.
While deciding on a color, my wife says to me whatever you do don't get red.
My reply was: Don't worry, I'm not big on red anyway. Especially if you see it on the HD website.
It's horrible. For weeks I didn't even consider it, cause nobody had any bikes in this color.
I truly couldn't decide on a color. Until about the sixth dealership had this color on the floor.
It was near the window with the sun hitting it perfect.
I instantly knew it was the color, especially with all the chrome on the Lowriders.
It's awesome and i've been riding here in the cold, have about 135 miles thus far.
As far as the smile on my face. I'm like a little kid, I can't stop opening the door from the house to peek in on her.
