UnderArmor?????

RE: UnderArmor?????
If you ever saw me at work in the winter you would think I was a walking UA billboard. I have the mock, long undies, socks, hat and face mask. Why, because it works better than anything I have tried.

One thing to remember with all the synthetic moisture management stuff is never use fabric softener with it. Clogs the pores and the wicking action goes away. My $.02 and we sell a lot of it!!!

I too think UA is way overpriced. You should be able to find cheaper stuff at Walmart or your local fleet-farm store, as long as it's a polyester material. Polypropolene used to be "the stuff", but body odors won't wash out of it and after a while it starts to smell likeyou were just at thegym, even when its clean, and it doesn't hold up totoo manywashings either. Just don't wear anything cotton in the cold (I'm talkin'temps well below freezing). Up here in northern MN I tell "newbies" that cotton will kill ya! If you work up a sweat it won't let go of the moisture and whenyou stop or slow down you'll get chilled. Chilled leads to cold, cold leads to hypothermia, and hypothermia leads to DEAD! Like the Operator above, I wear it head-to-toe all winter.

ORIGINAL: csbreeze
Never used it but heard it was great. I use the old fashion thermals.

Trust me, they are worth every penny, and yes they do help with monkey butt.

RE: UnderArmor?????
I wear it everyday in the winter with my uniforms. I have become used to wearing it and if I don't I freeze! LOL. Also, when I get home I just take the uniform off and wear it around the house. I am in great shape so the wife loves itbut has a fit when my sister in law comes up when I am just wearing my under amour. My sister in law loves it too!!! LOLOh and all of mine are free! I am reimbursed for uniform expense and the under armour is covered!
I wear it whenI ride also. It is warmer than regular thermals and also has sicking action to make you comfortable!

Here in Sandy Ago, we had to put on long pants for work last week, does that count? Ok, Ok, I bought a pair of "marino wool" thermals last year, they're supposed to be the best you can get according to REI (that's the only place you can find them here). However it hasn't been cold enough to try them out. Oh well, mabe someday-Sigh.
