Laconia great rally. I think better than the commercial Sturgis in my opinion. Its the oldest rally if I am not mistaken. I am just a little to far and not enough time to attend.
Anyone from the tri state area going to Laconia the last weekend? Anyone organizing any group rides?
I will be going there the last weekend hopefully. Its a great freek show and lots of vendors just try to get in early in the morning the roads get backed up after 9am. Its easy to get stuck in traffic.
try this route:
107 north til where it goes under Rt 3.
take Rt3 North ( the highway portion ) til it ends.
go right at the end of the ramp
take a right at the 2nd set of lights, following Rt 3 ( i think it's the second set, it's just after a gas station, and supermarket plaza )
when the road takes it's first left turn, go straight / bear right, up the hill.
follow that road until it ends, and take a left.
you'll be at the weirs bridge in no time, coming in from the right of Rt 3, back onto it.
I almost never hit traffic going this way, until I get to the bridge, where it can't be avoided, and even if you do hit some, it's less than anywhere else.
