From there (Kokomo)...still got family there, but anyone who went through the blizzard of 78 will tell you Indiana winters can get bad. My brother's fatboy is still in his garage...I rode my heritage to work today. Now I'll admit summer time here in the mojave desert gets too damn hot, but there are some awesome trees (sequoia) and mountains within 3 hours. I will admit I miss Indiana (and like HDWG said...Brown county is f#@! gorgeous), but I'm on a mission to save cali...one tree huggin democrap at a time!

Bloomington and so. Iniana are very nice. The whole midwest seems to have mostly nice people.I'm in central Il and let me tell ya'll sumpin,We know how to party![&:]
I live in INDY, and the people are nice, and the roads around here are awesome.
This winter has been strange, seems like it will snow, and thaw a few days later, then snow again, after that it will start all over. This winter has stayed the coldest for the longest in a long while.
I am going to do the Miracle Ride this year, that ride goes on 465 around to the speed way ,and you can ride around the track.I remember hearing the bikes go by work last year, and it sounds like thunder.
The only problem is the people around here freak out in snow, and rain ,some drive real slow, and some fly. It is almost standard to speed up through a yellow light here too which kind of grinds my gears.
I live in east central Illinois and find my way over there quite often. Great riding in those parts. The dealership in Bloomington is the nicest one I've been in yet. Besides the "Stonehendge" outside. I highly recommend it!
Pheasant hunting buddy from Evansville, used to own a fishing resort by Cadiz, Ky. He's back in Evansville now. Been down that way many times. Have ridden 66 out of Evansville along the river a couple of times while there. AWESOME country down there. Also, an MC I hang 'round once in a while, had a Nat'l meeting at Mansfield Hist. Site north of Terre Haute. Have really N JOYed all my trips to Ind. Ppl there, remind me of out home in SoDak, layed back and friendly as all get out. Plus, when you get into the smaller towns, they know who B the stranger in town. And I like that.
BTW - any of you folks down in Ind see or know anybody in the BOND SLAVES MC? Just askin'.
