Yeah. Just wonder how happy they would be after they drop their rides on black ice, and are on foot, because they were too manly to use a trailer. Only way to not use a trailer in some of the climates around here is to park your bike all winter long. Some of us would rather trailer to where it's warm, and there's no salt residual on the roads.

OK! Who voted to give King69 the authority to tell others what to do with their money and life?
Started off as a joke
I'm not a warm weather guy, I don't own a trailer for my bike...where there's a will there's a way.
I don't get all bunged-up about the d@mn salt. If ya get a warm day....ya wash the bike. I bought it to ride it......not to sit and stare at it.....cause it's so purrrrrrrrdy.
Naw, riding on ice is not my idea of smart. It's really not even my idea of dumb, more like really really stupid. Riding a motorcycle on icy roads gets you right on the Darwin list as far as I'm concerned. I paid too much money for my bike, enjoy my health too much, and don't want to spend the summer without a bike because I was afraid to put it in a trailer to get to warmer climates to ride. But to each their own.

Well when there'sa warm day around here, everyone rides if the roads are clear. It's when it's below freezing that it goes in the trailer. I guess I could just stay home from Daytona if it happens to be snowing this week, which is the forecast. That would be sooo much more fun that trailering itsouth so I can ride in Florida.
To get back to your original question, use a material that is "gasoline friendly". Spray on liners and paints most likely dissolve when you get a gas leak or the heat causes the tank to overflow. My trailer has a plastic tread plate type floor that can be hosed out and gas does not hurt it.

Most of our Satellite Communications trailers have been soldwith this flooring option.
It has a better "grip" than the standard vinyl and is a "garage floor" product so it has moderate chemical resistance.
I've only seen the black but I believe other colors are available.
