PM me, I can get you all signed up, issue you your own set of ACUs, boots, M-4 riffle, get you trained up and have you out on a convoy in no time. I'll even set you up with a new set of Willey X gogles which are great for riding your scoots

I am still out here in the big sand box with my task force activly engaged. It's never to late to serve!

You would need to hit the Armory and issue real rifles, a good many of the “Old Military Guys†were trained with and fought with M-14s. I know that the current M-4 variant of the M-16 is a much improved weapon but the M-14 hits harder and penetrates better at just about any range you want to name. Most of us would be willing to accept the weight penalty of the ammunition and rifle in return for the performance. As for the advantage of the maneuverability of the M-4 in house clearing and urban warfare, hell if old guys needed to clear a building we would back off call in an air strike or artillery and let the collateral damage fall where it may. War is war and in the end what really matters is that that the job gets done and you get all of your guys back home in good shape and in one piece. Come to think of it is too dam bad that General Paul Tibbets is gone, there was a guy that knew how to end a war, or at least he knew how to end WWII.

Good luck Big Lou, we all appreciate the job that you and your guys are doing. Keep your head down and if it looks suspicious blow it in place.
