Default SE filter splitting
Just installed my chrome backing plate and EFI cover on my SG today. My SE fiter is splitting around the gasket. Only 2000 miles, what a piece of crap. Guess its time for a K&N replacement.

I switched out my SE air filter element, ayear and a half ago,to a K&N one, as soon as I read the posts about the SE ones deteriorating.

Check with K&N website, I beleive you may want a K&N "HD-0800", I got mine at autozone for about $46.00, special order. You may want to also buy a "recharge" kit.

is there a K&N for the 2008 SE intake yet? don't think the RK-3909 fits.
