I rode my bike to work Friday and it was cool coming in but by quiting time it was in the high 60's. Saturday we went on a nice long ride and the temps were in the mid 70's. Sunday, we had hail, high winds and tornados. Today, it's been snowing all morning so far. Welcome to Oklahoma. Sigh.
Not too crazy, here, Bob. Just f*kkin' winter as always. Made it to 38* yesterday, best we've had in a long time. But started drizzlin' instead of snowing about 1 and then temps dropped, chit froze on eveything. Wind came up during the night, it is just flat a$$ed ugly out right now, below 0 wind chills and now they are saying -0 by the weekend. Mn - gotta love it, huh? OR just be really toopid like some guys who ride panheads, or worse hardtail panheads.
Then these clowns from Georgia, (who shall remain anonymous, but his initials are ROADGEEK) have the audacity to brag aboutriding to Daytona, AND then post pics of the place. GEEZ, no respect, just absolutely, zero respect.
I was thinkin' we were having some crazy weather down here, but you got us beat. They're talking tornado warnings for today though. We'll see.
Yup, he's got us beat with the whacko weather here in DFW TX too. We had high 70's saturday / sunday cold rain and wind / the news machine continue's to babble about snow flurries tonight .. but, I'm thinkin snow is pretty much an urban legend down around here.
