I just got a hell of a quote fromSafeco Insurance through Harley-Davidson Ins Svcs: $153 per year. State law minimums, $500 deductable comp, $1000 deductabel col, $1500 custon parts, no med. Markel was $325, Progressive was $396.
I did the same thing for a year or two till a friend of mine had an accident with the state minimums are it destroyed him financially. Since then I raised my important limits way up to protect myself. Good bit more money but you really need to protect yourself...just my opinion.
That's still pretty good rates. When I bought my Low Rider in 1980, the only insurance co around here that would insure me (theft prone bike, young rider at 23 years old) was $1,100.00 a year. Even 300.00 a year is great!
