We have been getting snow flurries today and are expecting an inch tonight and then a week in the 40's then snow next monday I believe. I should be able to get out a little bit since we've had the salt washed off the roads for the most part. Just gotta dodge those holes.
Already been out in Barneveld NY, my bike is filthy and I ain't cleaning it till May, I want the very first 08 RatBike. i rode my bike and my sled in the same day, gotta love Central NY.
That's what beater bikes are for!!!! While the weather around here is still unstable (ie. a high of 9C today...-9C predicted as the high by Friday...) I couldn't resist the urge any longer, and got the plates renewed on my '85 Magna this past weekend. Went for a nice boot yesterday, and even rode to work today. (OK, so it is only 5 kms one way, but still...better than the truck!) Once spring REALLY arrives, and some of the crap and corruption is off the streets, I'll pull out the Fatty. In the meantime I have a pile of stuff in the garage that needs bolting on, to get her ready for spring. The Magna will scratch the itch until then.
