So if you are riding in a pack, and you are up front, and you need to release a little of you own "exhaust" should you fall back to the back of the group just in case you are louder than your bike is ???

Troy, you hit the nail on the head, I had the bike painted thiswinter and the wait for this snow to leave is killing me, I pulled it out into the driveway to take a picture and got excited I was able to ride it for 35 feet putting it back away. But I did see my first Harley out today..only about 22 degrees f today, I guess he just could't take it anymore.

It depends on where you're riding. If you are in Iowa, no one will notice. The whole state smells like pig **** anyway.
