Poorly adjusted spokes cause wobbles, and tightening them is no joy. Cast is the way to go, unless you want to spend time tightening/inspecting them regularly. cleaning them isnt that much fun either, unless you like dirty, grimmy spokes. hitting pot holes and road defects seems to be what whacks them out. Folks love them, but they do take extra work.

Cast. Mostly for the ease of flat repair.

Cast, look pretty good on most bikes and much easier to clean.

Spokes for looks, but cast for ease of fixing a flat. I'll take my chances on getting a flat on my Classic. If I had a different bike, probably go with cast.

After you have a factory spoke wheel come apart on you twice, you learn to prefer a cast wheel.
