I financed mine through HD on the 1st. and got 5.99 for 60mo. The local CU was willing to match it.

The trick to financing through Eaglemark Bank (Harley's financing subsidiary) is to get them on a special deal. What's special? Either a good rate for a given term or a no-money-down special. Depends what makes sense for you.

If there is no special or promotion when you want to pull the trigger on a new bike and don't want to wait for one, join a credit union and go through them.

payed cash for 2 of mine and the 06 Delux was at around 7% but the wife payed that off too....

Harley's rates are not dealer specific. Tier 1 credit (great credit with a minimum Beacon score of 740) can get a rate as low as 7.99 according to H-D.com
