You did more for the cat than he would've done for you. He would've tortured and played with you for a couple hours before putting you out of your misery. Here in my neck of the woods you can put a wild animal out of it's misery such as a deer or fox. But cats are considered domestic animals and you would likely get a fine or jail for sucha mercy killing.
I did that about a year ago, but with my car,...... best thing is to suffocate it. I did it with my shirt If I remember right. Only took 30 secs.
Poor damn thing was suffering, spitting blood etc.
Sorry about your experience, it's horrible when stuff like that happens. As for some Neanderthal giving you **** about it, ...... There's you're second use for the shovel.
Demkay - everytime I see that bike it reminds me how good a Fatboy can look.
Dynamike - glad the cat didn't win. Cats, coons, dogs, whatevers can still take a rider out. There's a vid somewhere on the net of a small sports ball (soccer ball or old style basket ball - can't remember) causing a scooter to go down. Could have been much worse. The mercy killing was a good thing.

+1... So basically you ran over a cat and then killed it with a shovel.
What was the point of telling this story? I'm sure some people would have appreciated it if you actually tried to help the thing. Your version of the story was just a bit unsettling and nothing more.
You suck......you didnt need to post that.....and if you did for some weird reason feel it was necessary to post it, you definitely didnt need to go into that much detail. Some people never fail to amaze me at how expressive they can be, but still not know when enough is enough.
