I was concerned when I ordered it because I ordered some "DOT" helmets from other places that weren't DOT and I was going to be goinginto a helmet state.
However, when I got the Outlaw, I could tell it was quality. I really liked it. My girfriend bought one too, and hers is great as well. It's well worth the money in my opinion.
I bought a plain black for me and one with a pretty little lavender (she said that) butterfly... we both love them..fit was right and Leatherup is a great company. I got saddlebags from them too and I love the quality and price.
I think that they are the best kept secret in helmets. Extremly comfortable and cheap!

I've been trying to spread the word here about them. I have purchased four Outlaw helmets from LeatherUp and they are really nice high quality DOT helmets. Nice graphics and finishes too.

I just got 2 last week... I bought the carbon one and the Gloss Black with Butterfly graphics for my wife... They fit great and are a quality helmet.. The Carbon one they have is lighter and less padding inside than the one my wife has, I like the way it fits
Problem is whenever you are buying a helmet that is less than $40, it is hard to believe they are of high quality. Anyone else ever use this helmet? I am tempted to oder a couple but am a little skeptical to do so.
If you go to their web site, they have nothing listed as for the company history or the manufacturing process. Also the last time they show offering a helmet lin up is in 2006. I wonder if they even make them or if they are two year old helmets or just bought out from Chinaand labeled? I need to know more before I am ordering anything from them. I hope they are legit as the prices are good, but that is what makes me hesitant.
