Default RE: posting photos

Took me about 20 minutes yesterday to figure it out after a couple of trial & error tests. On the main Forums page about half way down there's a Topic called "The Photoshopping Place". Once I stumbled on that & read some, I signed up free on the photobucket website suggested (free) & then came the 20 min. trial/error sessionbut I finally got 'er done. Also, I had sent an email to the 'Contact HDF' for help & a moderator responded shortly thereafter but as it turned out after finding the 'photoshopping place' topic, it wasn't thaaaaat difficult [sm=headbang.gif].

I went to my wife's website. Opened a page where I know is a photo. Right clicked on it. Pressed control C (shortcut to cut pic) then got back in here in this message box and pressedcontrol P (shortcut to paste). It shows the pic. Now let's see once I post.

This site does not require a secondary host like Photobucket, which makes it simple to upload a picture.

Here's the process: First, most computers come with some type of photo editing program on them. Upload your pictures from your digital camera, or scan from an actual photograph, to your computer and save them as a "jpg" file. Do not us "BMP" .

Double click on your photo. that should take it right to your photo editing software. Go to edit, and resize them no bigger than 640, and resave the new size. Just add anything to the name different from the original, and you will find both on your computer.

Then, upload to this site right from your computer, and click on "Embed picture in post."

Walla. it pops right up as a clickable thumbnail!
