Default HD warranty

Can I do my own wrenching and retain my warranty? I just don't trust other wrenchs on my bike.

You can certainly do your own maintenance, but I wouldn't go beyond that, like engine upgrades and stuff. Keep receipts and records for maintenance and you're good.

Yes, just keep reciets. Make a check list for your servicing (most dealer use them). Your owner's manual will tell you what to check for each interval. I did this and staple my reciept to it so I don't lose it.

Keep your original pipes and reinstall them if a warranty issue ever comes up, otherwise you could be screwed later on.

I talked to my dealer's service manager about installing SE pipes and A/C myself, and he said as long as it was done right warranty wouldn't be affected. Hell, I'm all for saving a few $$. I will get them to re-do the ECM once everything is installed.
