I guess my beef is, why bitch about a $30 t-shirt when you canjust choose not to buy it. Why complain about the cost of chrome when you canjust keep your stuff stock? Why complain about labor when there are plenty of us who have proven fixes & mods can be done at home?
C'mon... you can say this kind of stuff about anybody's complaint. Watch, I'll show ya:

[align=center]"Why complain about a complaint posts when you can simply not click the link."
[align=left]
But that doesn't mean your complaint isn't valid.

And no f***ing t-shirt is worth $30 for sh*t sake! But if I'm dumb enough to buy it I sure as hell won't come here and bitch about it I promise ya that! [sm=laughat.gif]

The best form of flattery is a complaint. I bet you complain about your old lady all the time. Does that mean you love her any less?

jumpman,

First let me compliment you on your bike and truck, some how they some what embue the same look. I am not just talkng about the color, although that adds to it. They both look fat/phat. Nice work.

Your post is as well an excellent point. As I read your original and the following responses a thought came in my head. If I may.....Most every (99.9tenths) HD rider love there machine of choice.By virtue of it being 1) a machine 2)built and marketed 3) just involving humans at all levels there will be descretionary issues to banter about. The human error factor and all that. I am grateful for most of the points of interest and beg to differ moments here. It has been a real eye opener.A learn by the seat of the pants up date to the state of the HD nation. The HD motorcycle, while close, is not perfect. Mix in all the variouscombination of upgrades and accesories well I'd say there was plenty to **** on about. Some after market items seem superior to the factories contribution and thats adiscussible conundrum of opinions.

Concerns, complaints and better ideas keep mediocrityfrom impinging its place here. In fact in some cases I'd say the MOCO could (and have) benefitted by listening in,eh.

Or is your thread a joke after all?

LOL...Imagine how dull it would be here if everything was rosey, if all posts were perfect and nobody had any problems, zero.

I went out today for a 300 mile run with all 50 of my best friends, their wives were all topless. We stopped at the best restaurant in the world and they gave us all the food and beer we wanted, FREE!!!!. We then rode over to the dealership and the salesman offered me 25% more for my bike then what I paid for it, last month and then said he would sell me any bike I wanted at 10% off MSRP and no extras, plus a 20 year warranty anddddddd all part/accessories at dealer cost, FOR EVER!!! The gas station next door to the dealership gave us all free gas just...because. On the way home I smoked a Busa with my stock EG not once but fives times. Finally got home and the wife and her two sexiest girfriends washed and waxed my bike.............NAKED......Now you tell me how boring would that be for every post for weeks on end...lol. If it works the way they say it should then people basically shut their mouths, if it don't then they open them, human nature. I almost bought a 08 SE.....heard about the many engine issues and decided to wait and see how they fix them. Would not have known about these issues if people didn't complain, I thank them for helping me. I got to thinking why I sometimes bitch here, it's mostly to do with the brotherhood. What HD has done with the HOG chapters and other socials has been great for marketing as it draws bikers together. Bikers will take alot of chit before giving up on their HD. The MoCo knows this and at times takes advantage of the loyalty that the bikers have with them. I have heard many times that HD's are slow, have many more problems then JAP bikes, are far too expensive, etc,etc.....but the loyalty keeps us there. I think thats cool in one way but get a burr under my saddle when dealers take advantage of that by over pricing or poor service or the MoCo ignores well known problem issues because they know that bikers will still buy, regardless. I think they are a great bike, but there are some things that are not perfect and these are the things that are brought up. Without complaints we would learn alot less. I am not saying people here should all complain and be unhappy with every post they submit but a general forum is to discuss the good and bad, I see more good here then bad for sure. Opps, gotta run the 18 year old baby sitter just came in to give me a "FULL BODYMASSAGE WITH A HAPPY ENDING"after my long day biking, wife and hernaked girlfriends are cooking 20oz T-bones on the BBQ so ALL IS WELL, NO COMPLAINTS HERE

I love this forum myself.
Well, look at that 'cheesy' ride you call a 'scoot', and it is pretty e-z to understand why you 'love' this forum. Oh, Oh, there I go, complainin' again.
What you need is a chopper with bags. https://www.hdforums.com/m_3218364/tm.htm Post #18 Now that my Kraut friend, is a "SCOOT"
Mornin', Schu. Hey, hey, tranny back together, chopper is "back on the road" as of yesterday.

Good to hear you got it all back together.
And as far as cheesey......
Would that be Handkäse, Milbenkäse, or Rauchkäse?
