BABS....Walked into the house one day after doing the exhaust and the mother inlaw made a comment about the sound. I replied.."
Bad *** Bike Sound." and Babs was born. Mother inlaw and wife loved it because my mother inlaws mother went by Babs her whole life. Usually wear a basic little novelty lid (should know better) unless its cold then fullface harley bucket.
Full face HJC helmet from the harley dealer, after seeing all the things that could have hit my face like rocks and other debris that didn't im not going to switch to anything else, ever...
as for her name im not sure yet, violet maybe, possibly Inna, and maybe amanda? no idea
I have to admit I haven't given much thought to naming my bike. My first car, a '73 Chrysler Newport was dubbed "The Enterprise" (as in NCC-1701...and the will always be my favourite car I've ever owned...), my second, a '77 Monza, I referred to as "The Nomel". (it was yellow, and it was lemon backwards...a mistake from day one...) I don't think I've ever named a car car since, and have never given a handle to any of my bikes. I have a HJC flip front fullface for riding in REALLY cold weather (and it has to be REALLY cold...like below zero...), but generally a wear a "Brand X" $63 half shell DOT flat black helmet. The most comfortable lid I've ever owned.
