Suspension problems
Greetings, I have a problem with the suspension on my 05 FLHTCI. No matter what level of air pressure I use we always bottom out. It’s a very rough ride, granted I’m a big guy; my wife is of average size. Whether I’m riding solo or double the bike takes the bumps hard. I had a1990 FLHTC before my 05 and it had a much better ride, although it had separate ports for the air suspension, one for the front and one for the rear. Does anyone experienced this with their bike, or have a suggestion with aftermarket suspension? Your thoughts on this matter would be gratefully appreciated.

How much do you wish to spend? Suspension can be a good as you want it. Gas/coil over is the absolute best ride bar none depending on the make of shock. Our Penske's never botom out even at 11 1/2". The hard parts hits due to decresed ground clearance. You can call if you need to discuss your options toll free below. I will tell you all of the options available for your bike, mine and others. Before I lost alot of weight I was a little over 300lbs.My 2005 flhtci never bottomed out,even with my daughter on the back.I would think you have some other issue or together you two are over 500 lbs.Stuff does wear out or is not operating properly.
