sturgis - drinking age
The good old days, 18 and 3.2 beer, are gone forever![:@]
In fact, I think I have enjoyed Sturgis more since I quit 13 yrs ago than I did when drinking. (That could be because I don't remember Sturgis when I was.

) Took mine along at 16. He enjoyed it, especially when we spent the day touring all the bike builders, and he got to sit on 'em. Good indication is he still has some of the pics I took, hangin' on his walls, 7 yrs later.

Grew up out in SoDak, and when I was a youngster (in the 50's), Gramma used to send us to town (1 1/2 mile walk) to get Grain Belt for my uncle's when they were baling hay. We were all of 7 and 9, and they would triple bag it to keep it cold for the walk back to Gramma's. We'd get sent to town to buy cigs for my uncle's, too.

Sadly, 3.2 beer is alive and well in my state. BLECH! Glad Im not a beer drinker. Should seen my buddies in Vegas last fall, they forgot those beer footballs on Freemont street are REAL beer. One of those babies, and I just about had to carry them to the cab.
