Had the same thing happen to 1 of 4 (there's always one, right?) when removing the Torx bolts to put on the detachable sideplate points. Wound up drilling the head enough to use a reverse screw extractor and managed to get it out cleanly, but it was very frustrating and added a good 45 minutes to the job!
Dealers usually step up from my experience, glad they have again. Next time try a little heat on it, like a soldering iron, once the thread locker warms up problem solved, usually.
Had the same problem when I was removing my rear fender. What I did woth the torx, was take a bit that was a size or two bigger, and pounderd it in with a hammer making new grippings. Came out no problem after that.
glad to hear you have such a good dealer. sounds like you should spread the name....?????
Thunder Creek HD in Chattanooga.
I took the bike in Thursday morning, and was in and out in less than an hour. The Service Mgr did the work himself. NO CHARGE...but I handed him plenty of cash to buy lunch with.
This isn't the first time this dealership has stepped up and surprised me.

should have used an impact driver,Now you know! Anytime you have a piece of hardware that small never force it.HD's hardware is as good as any Co's.
I've been wrenching autos, trucks, and bikes for a long time. I have to disagree with you on teh "quality" of the fasteners. These were like butter. And I DID use an impact. It doesn't help when the bolts are this soft.
I too have been wrenching most of my adult life and honestly I have never had a problem with Harley hardware,Or a least no more than anybody elses.Always change all hardware to stainless so it really doesn't matter.Anyway, better luck next time, hang in there.
