My SO had his low back fused about 20 years ago. He rides all the time. Medical advances being what they are now, I'm SURE that things are going to work out for you both.
my best friend and riding partner my wife is down for the count , we recently sold her bike because it hurt her to much to ride it and she decided to just ride two up with me , lately she has been reduced to using a walker and wheel chair and in the morning they are going to fuse 4 disc in her back. the doc says more than likely she wont be able to ride until next summer . she truely loved riding and dont care what kind of bike it is just that it has two wheels and a motor , so how about some positive thoughts for her in the morning . it would be deeply appreciated
thanks jeff
first i want to thank everybody for there positive thoughts . my wife was in surgery for 11 hours they fused 4 vertebrea and put two titanium rods in her back , 8 screws and replaced some disc. yesterday I went to see her after I got off work and to my suprise she was up walking and raising hell about her surgery stockings not fitting lol I think she is gonna be alright . she is one tough lady and there is no doubt that next summer she will be on the back of my bike heading for the memphis in may blues fest.
once again thanks everybody for your thoughts
jeff
Jeff, methinks that to make momma even more happy riding shotgun, you may need to *ahem* bring home an Ultra Classic. Probably going to need to make as comfy as possible, If you cant do that with a UC, then there isnt a bike out there that will. Just think.... UC CVO. muahahaha!
The people in medicine don't get enough credit for what they are able to do nowadays. We take too much for granted, and they save us. It's amazing sometimes.
