Best of wishs for him. Just out of curiosity what happened after he hit the curb? Did it throw him off the bike into something or is that from impact with the ground? That would be the ribs.I'm always curious how people's ribs get broken so thought I might as well ask.

Themore I hear about stuff like this the less inclined I am to even try to avoid animals that cross my path. I don't want to hurt them but the alternative seems to be so much worse.
