I know this belongs in the detailing section, but I thought I would get a better response here. Deatiling my bike and I used Turtle wax ice wax. Pretty sure I have better results with other stuff. Now here's the question...
I am obviously no big detail guy, so please humor me. Can I go over the wax with new stuff, or do I have to start all over with taking it off? Second, I have some Meguirs cleaner wax. Will that work for taking the wax off? The bottle and the website leads me to beleive that it won't, and they weren't very clear. Thanks!!
If the dish soap doesn't work, try a SOS pad with 100% dish liquid and then buff wih emery cloth
....
Turtel wax is for turtels.......Why would a person put a 4 dollar waxon a 16-22 thou bike......Meguirs makes a good product thats all I use on everything...
You shouldn't need to remove one wax to apply another. If you want to, go buy some grease and wax remover from an auto parts store. This will remove anything on the paint without hurting the paint itself. Then you can start fresh.

Try $15 wax. Stuff isn't cheap. That's why I would put it on a 16-22 thou bike.
Putting a wax on top of a wax doesn't do anything but harm the pocketbook a little. It'll get to the point that your just removing wax as your waxing. Don't worry about it, just put on what you like or want.
