I'd tell him you thought he meant $3,855.00 and laugh my a$$ off. It would be an awsome first Harley but I'd hate to see you use it as a learner bike. A used Dyna might be the ride you're looking for. A Sportster would be even cheaper (usually) and are a lot of fun. Ignore the comments you'll hear about it being a chic bike. They are a ton of fun. Beside, not everyone can step up to a SE Ultra for a first bike.
