At last year's ralley on South Padre Island here in Texas I saw some A$$hole with his wife and kid looking at a 30K custom. \\; The father put the kid ON the bike. \\; I just cringed as I watched this happen. \\; Of course they came in a cage and were nothing more than Mexican tourists with no brains.

I heard a good story on the forum a while back. The guy came out and saw some smart azz on his bike just smiling at him as if to taunt him.
The guy pulled out his cell phone and proceeded to report a bike theft in progress. I thought that was a better response than the one I would most likely do.
