 \\;Ok here's the story, my dad recently went to the local dealership to put a deposit on a \\;new bike. \\; He has no intension of financing it through Harley, but when he was sitting in the office he saw a sign and confirmed it with the finance guy, that Harley will no longer finance your bike unless you purchase at least a 3 year warranty.

That's illegal in Michigan. \\;\\\\\\; Probably all 50 states. \\;\\\\\\; No big deal, it's usually cheaper financing it elsewhere.

Fla. lenders can require insurance on a vehicle loan. if you do not get covered they can and will cover it for you at a heavy cost and add it to your loan
