 \\;Ok here's the story, my dad recently went to the local dealership to put a deposit on a \\;new bike. \\; He has no intension of financing it through Harley, but when he was sitting in the office he saw a sign and confirmed it with the finance guy, that Harley will no longer finance your bike unless you purchase at least a 3 year warranty.

That's BS from that dealer or something just goin on in Canada...friend of mine just picked up a new
Softail Custom, and nothing was said about that...
Fla. lenders can require insurance on a vehicle loan. if you do not get covered they can and will cover it for you at a heavy cost and add it to your loan

If you financed your road king in Fla. and didn,t show them proof of collision and comp. ins. be prepared to get a letter saying that you have so long to get the coverage or they will get for you at a LARGE price! Been there Done that!
