....but I've been in three dealers in the past week looking at HDs - I'm planning on buying one, oh, say, yesterday - and I've noticed somthing bizarre. \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\; At none of those dealers did a single salesperson approach me to ask me if he/she could help me, or if I had been helped. \\;\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;  \\;\\\\\\;All the while, I'm walking around their large showrooms looking at Sportsters, sitting on them, etc. \\;\\\\\\; No one from the dealership pays any attention to me, and it is clear none of them want to sell a bike.

Is there some kind of etiquette I should know about? \\;\\\\\\; Do you have to approach salespeople and beg them to help you with a purchase? \\;\\\\\\; Or am I doing something wrong? \\;\\\\\\;

wear a sign around your neck that says, "I got cash money" or a "My credit score is over 800."
I like to be left alone as well but some sort of acknowledgement is nice. \\; Even if it's just a "Hi, just ask if need anything or have any questions." \\; I hate being treated or made to feel like I'm not even woth the effort to even say hi to.
