RE: mudd corner eats a harley on the dragon (pics)
No, I've had fun running the Dragon three times thus far on my Deluxe, but I didn't rush it and I certainly wasn't trying to scrape anything though I have a couple of times, just not on the Dragon. \\; Agreed, definitey rider error.

My Deluxe is just 26/28, but my 883 Sportster was 32/32, no wonder I can tell such a difference. \\;\\\\\\;
Karen, your floorboards (and pegs on bikes that have them) hinge upward so don't panic and mess yourself up if you scrape the boards. It's the frame, muffler bracket etc. that are solid and if you get hard onto those you lose the weight on the tires and you slide out on the low side like that. You might think of the boards as a warning feeler - that's far enough, go ahead and scrape them but no need to correct.
Don't I also see a cell phone in there somewhere, lmao?

 \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Obvious he was trying to keep up with the Honda in front. LOL....
and the reason he got up so fast was that he didn't want to be creamed
by another bike coming around a blind curve!
 \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\; Three of those frame were taken before the Honda got around the curve.
Great shots!
(I bet that guy bought each one?)
 \\;
Can you imagine the convo on the Honda board right now about this[8D]
May not have been going fast but it looks like it may still hurt in the morning. Stuff on the road maybe part of the side of his boot,looks like in 1 pic it's scraped pretty good. We have ALOT of twisty's around these parts. When I was starting out a couple years ago I dared to be brave and came real close but quick thinking &\\; sticking with it instead of bailing \\;&\\; crashing,wrecking my bike,etc... We had a buds brother come in from Texas for Thunder last year on his WG and we have a couple Sportsers and are use to the roads here. We got to the bottom of the first little stretch and he lost it because all they had was flat &\\; straight roads[8D] \\;We had a very slow ride home

This doesn't even qualify as a wreck on the Dragon. The bike neither lowsided nor highsided. No wrecker needs to be called. No one needs to help him pull it out of a ditch. No law enforcement. No medical helicopter. I think he just fell off the bike and it sits there in the lane waiting for him to get back on.
From The Total Motorcycle web site, Defininition of "low side."
Low[/b] Side[/b] (Low[/b]-side[/b]) - 1. A type of motorcycle[/b] crash that involves laying the "low[/b] side[/b]" of the bike too low[/b] in a turn, resulting in a loss of traction and grounding the bike. 2. When the rider loses balance of the motorcycle[/b] and both fall onto the ground on their low[/b] side[/b]. 3. A bike falling over onto it's side[/b] that's lower to the ground.

300+ curves in 11 miles, that's what gets so many bikes.
That is the way all the roads in mine and thrillseekers neighborhood are lol.
 \\;
well well, look who it is, one of my closest neighbors... y2k.
 \\;
yeah, and thats why WE get all the bikes going by up here in our neck of the woods \\;
