110 is the hottest I've ever bothered to ride in.&nbsp\\; Glad we generally only get a couple 100+ days in this part of NM.

117 is the hottest but it's been above 100 for 5 days now on the central coast and the air is filled with smoke but it's better than sitting in a cage!

110 degrees today and I am riding to and from work. Still better to ride than sit in a hot car.

110. Started out in the morning at only about 70 degrees. Rode about 500 miles that day and it hit 110 in the afternoon. I was no good for a couple of days. Couldn't do that 2 days in a row.

Slightly o/t: From the 'afraid to ask a stupid question because this is my first Harley' category, how I will know if my Harley is overheating? I read the manual and it cautions against overheating the engine, but it doesn't say how to know the engine is actually overheating. What are the symptoms?

I've only ever ridden in 100 degree heat and back then I had a liquid-cooled F4. I've only ridden in 90 degree heat once with my Low Rider.
