I bought some fingerless summer gloves from HD dealer about 2 years ago. They are the perforated nylon/brushed leather/suede look gloves that are quite a bit cooler than the leather fingerless gloves. Local HD dealers say that they are a discontinued item (just my luck). Anyone know of a source for this item? Nothing showed on e-bay...
You know, what has worked good for me are some Altus fingerless weight lifting gloves. I have the Harley ones too, but I wear the Altus ones for general around the town riding. Our local Big Five sporting goods store has them once in a while for 4 or 5 dollars. They work great and hold up well. jben
Thanks -- I might try those... What I was looking for was the actual HD gloves as described. Really like them. But, if they are discontinued and no sources disclosed, I'll check out your suggestion -- and the affirmations of others responding here to my inquiry.
If any dealer has them left in stock, your local dealer should be able to look it up for you on the computer. They will print you a list up that tells the location of the dealer and how many they have in stock... I wanted a discontued wallet and they did a search and I was able to drive to the nearest dealer that still had one and get it. You might have to call and order it over the phone, though, if they come up with a far away dealer.
Try a pair of the mechanix gloves. They are full fingered but alow air flow to pass through them to keep you hands dry. I love mine. Less than $10 a pair and I can actually keep them on when I stop to get gas and pull the cash or a credit card out of my wallet. With my old HD gloves I had to take them off to do anything but ride.
