Question about MSRP
Just curious...I notice that a couple of bikes(Fat Boy and Street Bob for example) have had thier price lowered about $1000. 1) Why? Not made the same? Not selling well? 2) Since the 09s are cheaper than the 08s do you think you would be able to haggle a significant deal on a 08? Afterall why get an 08 if you can get an 09 cheaper? Sorry for all the questions I'm pretty green when it comes to this. Still shopping for my first bike (Leaning towards the Fat Boy).

I would imagine if you can find an 08 Fatboy you would be able to swing a good deal. \\; Obviously you should pay less for an 08 versus an 09 regardless what the 08 MSRP is. \\;

If your looking to save a few bucks.....then see if you can score a 08' ASAP. I am sure the dealers are trying to clear the floor space of 08's to make room for the 09's.....between that the the fact that its the end of the month, you should be able to talk them down quite a bit off MSRP. Just dont accept the first offer or two, until you think your getting your best price.....then shop it around!

Hmmm I didnt notice any chrome removed from the 09 Fat Boy.
