I paid extra for one that the dealer said would protect me from falling space debris. So far, it has worked like a charm.

Supposedly low to the ground to pick up the road gremlins that are lurking on the road.&nbsp\\; I have mine tied near the rear of the frame.&nbsp\\; On the Heritage, it's on the passenger peg.

Used to be you carried a bell and if you broke down and another rider stopped to help you, you gave him the bell and he mounted it on his bike.

Now its a gremlin bell, and yes I have one.
