I've got the alarmed Xena. Very good lock... Very loud. Budge the bike a bit and it sends a few warning beeps. If it senses further budging at that point, it goes off... ear piercingly so. I take it with me for longer trips, overnighters at motels, etc.
Thank you for your inputs so I will get one asap...My husband just got his bike stolen a month ago and they didnt take my bike. Go figure, guess someone needed a kawasaki vulcan So now he will be shopping in a bit for another bike and I will get 2 of these disc locks. They range from 75-110$ depending the one you take and fits your bike.
I have sold a ton of them, and it's what I use when staying out overnight or at Rallys, somebody stands your bike up, they are going to know it and quick. Also keeps you from forgetting it, and dumping your scoot, and belive me, I have seen a bunch of people dump scoots, due to forgetting a rotor brake. I have never had one returned, and I dont get any false alarms with mine.
Shooter64, the one I need is xzz6 do they set off easily cause I would have to leave the key to my elder neighbour cause I dont use my bike for work so they dont bust their ears...lol
forgot to ask you another question...do you still sell them? if so, do you send online?
I need 2 of them cause my husband got his bike stolen a month ago...now the insurances are telling him he has to have an alarm set on his new bike that we will be buying soon... so I thought of them little xena
Insurance company requiring an owner applied disc lock in order to insure you? Never heard of such a thing. A passive alarm system perhaps but not a disc lock.
