Looking at a 97 Springer for my wife, rare find as I drove back to Tampa from Greenville SC. They came down quite a bit to 14k. Still seems like a lot for a 97 even though it looks twice as clean and nice as my immaculant 06 deluxe. Has 11k miles, chrome everywhere possible, including front end and swingarm. It looks as though it has never left the showroom, prettiest bike I've seen in a very, very long time. What is everyone's thoughts on price?
Dunno about there, but here, the price would be high.. Granted it's very low miles and very nice AND it's a Springer.. You won't recoup yer money but that isn't always bad if she loves the bike and your not lookin to get rid of it for a long time.. My rule of thumb............. If Mama ain't happy... Nobodys happy...........Blue Book on the bike is $7200 trade in, and $10,700 retail if a dealer was offering it with a warrentee..split the difference for private party sale at $9,000.. then up or down depending on shape and milage..So at 14k.. Does Mama have to have it and will be eternally gratefull and see ya as her "Hero"? LOL.. or?
As to the monetary value of the Springer, not sure. I usually look at how it appeals to me. When I first saw my Springer it appealed to me so I overlooked the price, have been a happy camper ever since.

14K is way high for a Evo. There was a guy selling a 98 Road King on the forum for $7800, looked like a nice bike if I remeber.
