I am looking for the best american made lift for my Road King.I am looking for the type with the rear drop down on it. I am also looking for the best price I can find. I am asking alot here, aren"t I. American made and best price. Any help would be great. I would like to hear about some of you that ahve lifts.
Thanks Bernie
I have always liked the Handy brand lifts. I dont know where they are made, but for about $1500, you can get the lift your looking for in a color of your choice, along with some accessories....like the wheel vice, and scissor jack.....delivered. Less if you go pick it up I guess.
I spent quite a bit less than that on the last one I bought back in about 1985, but times (and prices) have changed a lot since then.
The thing is though....once you start using a lift to work on your bike, its becomes VERY hard to go back to working from a jack or on the floor should you have to. When I moved some time ago I had to sell my lift, and I been kicking myself in the a$$ ever since!
