i dug out my old chain-drive wallet a few days ago. it still works. but, its from the 80's so its got a skinny chain. some kid with a mohawk told me no one wears skinny chains anymore. i didn't know there were fashionable prerequisites to be met. barf.
Chain wallet here. It works. I just shortened the chain today. I noticed that it seemed long enough to cause an issue with the rear wheel assembly if it were to work out of my pocket. I dont want to think about what could happen.
Something to think about guys.

Anybody that has ever lost a wallet understands using a chain. I may be a hick, but I'll have my wallet, money, cards, etc when I get wherever I'm going. If you don't like it, don't look.

I purchased a chained wallet the day I purchased my bike, would not have it any other way, I too shortened the chain, took out about half of the chain, it doesn't get hung up on the seatbelt in the OL's cage now.
I'm not a hick but I am an honorary hillbilly since I live in rural West Virginia. Truth be known, I've ridden with a chain wallet for years... many years. Same wallet even. I can easily, but not too easily, remove the chain when I'm not riding but when I'm on the bike the wallet is on the leash.
Chain wallet whenever I'm in jeans...I use the bike all the time for errands, joyrides, general transportation when the weather is good. Could give a crap what it looks like or what others think or say about it. I made the chain detachable for when I have to dress for work or when I'm not going to be in any immediate danger of taking a ride.
