I was first up at a red light in a single lane today waiting for the light to change. I was in the center of the lane when a rice rocket pulls up on my right side dead even with me. Our bars were 12" apart. As I glance over at him his buddy does the same on my left side, again 12" from bar to bar. Three abreast in one lane When the light turned green the just took off. All I could do was shake my head & laugh a little.
I would have just looked at both of them, pulled out the gun I always have in a waist band holster, shot their rear tires out, and then continue on my way after giving them the "Harley Wave"....
Just Kidding, as I would never do something as cruel as that.....
I was sitting at a red light today. A 5.0 Mustang pulled up on my right. Little caged squid started revving the engine and hopping forward a little.
Took me a second to catch on to the idea that I was the one that he wanted to race.
As the light turned green, I couldn't hold it in any more. I went from grinning to outright laughing as he dumps the clutch and squeals away. The kid's at the bottom of the learning curve if he's trying to race baggers (mine anyway).
Pretty common occurance here in CA. They ride much faster than most other bikes and almost all cars so they want to be in front at the lites. I'd rather they did that at the lite than pass me in my lane on the hiway going about 50mph faster than me.

Well he fails racing 101 if he was squealing away. Lost traction to sound cool is worthless in a race. Launching hard enough to get a jump but not so hard that you break the rear end free is what he needs.
And you bike would have smoked him if all he had was exhaust.
